Femme Fatale:
Can a cheese be sexy? We think so. Our French-inspired Femme Fatale hits all the right notes with her combination of fragrant herbs de provence, extra virgin olive oil, and a slight kiss of garlic. Just try and resist the siren song of basil, oregano, thyme, and rosemary. Enjoy Femme Fatale alone, or get daring and pair her with potatoes or roasted veggies. Can you say Ooo-La-La?
Femme Fatale and Tomato Tart:
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed 1/3 C Dijon mustard 4 medium tomatoes, sliced ¼ tsp sea salt 1/8 tsp ground black pepper 8 oz CheesyGirl Femme Fatale® chevre 2 T chopped fresh flat leaf parsley
Preheat oven to 425◦ F
Roll out pastry onto floured surface to ¼ inch thickness and arrange in a 10 inch tart pan (or small cookie sheet). Spread mustard evenly over pastry, leaving ½ inch empty around the edges. Arrange tomato slices over mustard. Crumble cheese over tomatoes and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffy and golden brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Allow to cool a few minutes before cutting. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
